Denzel Washington & Michael B. Jordan do a movie together and I am just over the moon about it! I absolutely adore both men. And lately, people have been saying that Michael just might be the next Denzel Washington.
The only thing that would make their movie “A Journal for Jordan” better is if Denzel were actually on camera with Michael B. Jordan. That’s right, Denzel won’t be appearing on camera in the movie. Rather, he’s behind the camera…Denzel is the movie’s director! The movie chronicles Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Dana Canedy’s relationship with a soldier named Charles Monroe King, who eventually became her fiancé. When Charles was deployed overseas, he began writing a journal of life lessons for their newborn son. Dana published the book A Journal for Jordan after Charles was killed by a roadside bomb in Iraq in 2006. Their son, Jordan, was only 7 months old when his dad died.
