We can always count on Lenny Kravitz to be a beacon of love. It’s the reason I’ve been a longtime fan and supporter. Sure, he’s got amazing music & he’s gorgeous…But the fact that he’s all about letting love rule makes him the sexiest, in my book.
And now comes news that Lenny’s spreading even more love. This week, he world-premiered the new video for his song “Here to Love.” On YouTube, Lenny said, “I’m joining forces with UN Human Rights and their #FightRacism campaign to promote tolerance, equality, and diversity. I’m honored that my song #HereToLove is the theme song for #FightRacism.”
Lenny goes on to say, “Today is International Human Rights Day. Join me in standing up to #FightRacism and for people everywhere to live in a world without hate. #HereToLove.” And although Lenny doesn’t bless us with his gorgeousness in the video, he does bless us with the message of inclusiveness, diversity, acceptance, compassion and, yes…LOVE. Watch below…
The lyrics to “Here to Love” are simple, yet beautiful and accessible to everyone…
We’re not here to judge
We are here to love
There’s no room to hate
We are just one human race
We must rise above
We are here to love
There’s no time to waste
Anymore…
