After the May 21st matinee of For Colored Girls on Broadway, I had the pleasure of hosting a Q&A with the show’s Director/Choreographer, Camille A. Brown, for “100 Women of Hip-Hop Sisterhood Sunday.”
This past Tony Awards season was a monumental one for Camille, as For Colored Girls scored 7 nominations. Camille was also the 1st Black woman to serve as both director & choreographer on Broadway in more than 66 years. It my pleasure interviewing her before a live audience in the historic Booth Theatre.
