As I type this, I’m listening to Kanye West’s new “Donda” album for the first time. Music lovers all over the world are talking about “Donda” after it finally dropped today and so far, I’m loving it! It’s got 27 tracks and features guest spots from JAY-Z, the Weeknd, Jay Electronica, the Lox, Young Thug, the late Pop Smoke, my fellow Houston native Travis Scott, Lil Baby, Kid Cudi, Lil Durk, Lil Yachty, Baby Keem, Playboi Carti, Ty Dolla $ign, Don Toliver, Fivio Foreign, and Chris Brown.
Back in 2007, the music world was all abuzz about Kanye’s “Graduation” album and I had the honor of interviewing him shortly after it dropped. We met up in New York City’s Times Square where I chatted up Ye and he performed a few hits for a small group of fans.
